Summary:
- Canada x Reader

You tried to put your finger on who was in the mirror. You remembered his name once you saw his pet polar bear at his feet. It was Matthew! You couldn’t believe that you had forgotten poor little Matthew. Well, he wasn’t little for he was taller than you, but all the same. You smiled, remembering the calm man. You were best friends with Canada and had developed a few crushes here and there with him, but never felt something big before. You thought he wouldn’t accept you back, that he would choose that Russian guy over you. You remember seeing a lot of fanfictions about the couple, of which always broke your heart to read.

“M-Miss…why are you back here?” A silent voice called to you. You turned to see Canada, standing in his suit that was rarely seen without. You smiled a bit, straightening yourself up, and brushing your uniform.

“I was just looking in this mirror Matthew-dear.” You smiled. You had to remain professional, at least when in your uniform.

“Oh I’ve been in this room once. It’s filled with all sorts of junk England can’t keep at home. I even saw the mirror myself too. I thought it was a fake…well until I saw movement within it.” You burnt. If Canada was telling you about it, then it must be the real thing. You burnt as you turned to him.

“What did you see?” You asked, rubbing your neck.

“You already know.” He said simply before leaving. Your cheeks heated up as you felt yourself chase after him.

“Matthew wait..!”
